Salvatore Ferragamo, Blair Clarke and The Armory Show welcome VIP collectors this February to a private party for WATER at the gallery at Salvatore Ferragamo. The artists selected for WATER depict the array of psychological and social symbolism that humans project upon water using a wide range of media. Including enchanting, melancholic and
sometimes horrific and astonishing images of water, the show pays homage to the element¹s power to fascinate humans. The artwork included in WATER is a
testament that water is more than a constant presence in our everyday lives. A source of recreation and artistic inspiration, water is part of our collective
cultural consciousness.

WATER is the first of a series of three shows curated by Voltz Clarke scheduled for the Gallery at Salvatore Ferragamo in the upcoming seasons. Exhibiting a range of established and emerging artists, the gallery at Salvatore Ferragamo provides an opportunity to present some of the most significant contributions to contemporary fine art to a larger audience. Previously featured artists include Tracy Emin, Sam Taylor-Wood, Andres Serrano, Natasha Law, Rob Pruitt, Kelly Lamb, Larry Clark, Elizabeth Peyton, Leo Villareal and Steven Klein.
